'The Arrival'

Sit in the sea, look for jaded shores
We just follow the scenes of this endless show
As the birds fly across, I know I can smile again
I feel the wind carry my dreams ashore

I've searched this path,
for the fruit of life
Seen a thousand rains,
felt the heat of the sweltering sun.

Away I run searching,
cradled in the misty seas,
I reach this land of mysteries
There is nothing here I cant feel or see

I know I am back to strange familiarity
I've arrived to old memories and feel alive.

I run to the corner of the street,
I remember where I once used to be
The golden sun rise above the fields,
the light vivid in my memory

With friends and neighbors frolicking
Games they played the night will see
The fights for gals, the drunken brawls
At the end of it all, it just cuts too deep

Stay not here,in entangled deeds
This is not it, what you need
Belief, its inside here
Follow the signs with your senses clear

Where you wanna reach's not the end
Travel as you please, burn your feet
The journey will, help you transcend

The doors to open, the keys to find
If you see nothing ahead, just turn behind

I'll be there, I'll be there
My friend, your shadow of intelligence

I'll be here, I'll be here
With you near, your pleasure seeking fantasy

I'll be gone, I'll be thrown,
only when you are sown
You become the seed
for the next life to be

But for today you know you've arrived
Where you want to be,
this is no dream
Ithaca has come alive.
