"Laila"

When the sun comes down, I looked up at the ceiling
It was all dusky in the orange hue and I see the bright moonlit night come on
Walking with the shadows, I see the dazzling lights
Down by the beach shack, I hear the crowd calling out the name that struck a familiar chord

They sang Laila, laila laila laila

As the curtains draw open, the stage lights zoom on her,
The diva walks out, and the world goes out in a whirl.
As she sings out her soul, a thousand hearts stop,
Like a wave of silence just dropped around us, and inside me Iam singing

Let them, Love someone, Love anyone, just your music,
But not you, coz you belong to me.

Many years I've been searching, the girl who sold her voice
To the music and the money makers, and the torn love she left behind
A wild journey later it doesnt matter, coz tonite I found you, I ask you again,
When the music dies down and the crowd moves on, can it be just the two of us under the stars

While let them, Love someone, Love anyone, just your music,
But not you, coz you belong to me
coz you belong to me Laila.
