Dance of Eternity

The sky in a burst of colors,
Walking down the rain country
Amidst the fields onto harvest
In search of the dance of eternity

As the sun rises above the earth abode
The dance of gods starts to the drum roll
Now the demons are dressing up,
They are next on the show.

Will the miracles happen
Only time will tell
But the mangods are smiling
For superstition still sells

Masks from the depth of darkness
Painted in colors of the earth
Haunting eyes look up dazed
As mortal men stand unfazed

Whirling Psychedelics
Taking us back to a place
Away from civilization
Strange relics of an ancient race

As the trance takes us over
Mind shaking head roll
Life on a feverish pitch
My soul someone stole

Am I at world's end
The dark horizon I descend
Then the light catches my eye
For a moment I transcend

Blessed heavenly lights I seek
Transformed to a world beyond belief
A strange newness now dawns on me
As I leave the dance of eternity.
